Recovery-Friendly Hawkeye Initiative (RFHI) aims to position the University of Iowa as a national leader in Recovery-Friendly Workplace practices by fostering a “culture of care” that supports well-being, mental health, and recovery. In addition to creating an inclusive environment for those impacted by substance use disorders, RFHI advances both basic and applied research on addiction, treatment, and recovery, spanning foundational science through implementation and evaluation of evidence-based interventions and policies.
