Management & Employee Involvement

The key to success, according to employers, is when managers model safe and healthy behaviors. From top to bottom, health and safety is something that should be emphasized each and every day. Success is achieved when employees and managers jointly develop policies, programs, and practices.

It has to start from the top-down. Everybody has to be on board, whether it’s the enforcement of it or managers just doing their job, walking around the shop, checking things out. They need to be doing it safely too, otherwise you won’t have buy-in from everyone else.
